Just completed my monthly theme for November: the color Purple! It wasn’t easy to find purple subjects. But when I did, the elegant attention it commands in the photograph is awesome. It’s perky, yet sleek!
Did you know: Purple is one of the least common colors in nature. In the past, making a dye in this color was very expensive. Therefore, purple became associated with wealth and royalty. In fact, some Emperors of Rome decreed that wearing purple by anyone other than the Emperor was illegal.
Glad that’s not the case today. I’d be in trouble! I like wearing it!
