Ballpark notes... (Dimensions:
LFL-333, LF-364, LC-410, CF-400, RC-373, RF-352, RFL-318 / Capacity: 48K)
This beautiful baseball facility
is unique, traditional, and intimate in design. Built directly off the
harbor, power hitters have fun taking aim at the water beyond the
rightfield wall. The BART train and light rail trains bring fans
directly to the park. Fans can also reach the park by ferry
across the bay.
Day games start at
1pm. Night games start at 7pm.
City/Fan notes...
San
Francisco (Market Size: Good) - is a melting pot and
as such is home to a diverse population. The cities neighborhoods are, generally speaking, a collection of small
neighborhoods comprising specific interests, ethnicities/ races, and
socio-economic statuses. The city boasts a brilliant mass-transportation
system.
When in San Francisco, you must be
prepared to deal with 'the elements' -- just like NYC or Chicago in
this regard: gusty winds, sideways rain and heavy fog, sometimes for
days on end. But, for the most part, the climate is mild. Just
perfect for catching a Cyclones game at the ballpark. San Francisco is truly a city that
attempts to capture the heart.
Cyclone fans are very possesive and feel that their players belong to
them. The intimacy of Bayside Park nurtures a special bond
between the players and the fans. They easily fall in love with
any player who gears up in a Cyclone uniform. Even a former
Cyclone will get a cheer when he returns while playing for the
opposition. They will criticize their players, but no one else
had better do it.
