Chicago Field

Ballpark notes... (Dimensions: LFL-355, LF-368, LC-380, CF-400, RC-380, RF-368, RFL-353 / Capacity: 41k)

Nestled between classic apartment houses and city streets this is probably the fan friendliest ballpark in the league. Countless fans have watched free games from the porches and rooftops of houses on Waveland Ave. (Behind the left field fence) and Shefield Ave. (Beyond right field). Chicago Field is affected by wind conditions more than any other ballpark in the Metros. Breezes off the great lake favors pitchers, but winds blowing toward the great lake carries balls.

Day games start at 1pm. No night games.

City/Fan notes...

Chicago (Market Size: Really Big) - As a multicultural city that thrives on the harmony and diversity of its neighborhoods, Chicago today embodies the values of America's heartland-integrity, hard work and community and reflects the ideals in the social fabric of its 77 distinct neighborhoods. Chicago is a leader in ensuring accessibility for all it's citizens and fostering, social, economic and environmental sustainability. Their's no wonder this third largest U.S. city has earned the reputation as the 'Friendly City.'

Chicago is recognized across the United States as a very passionate sports town as fans go out of their way to support their beloved Mammoths baseball club.
Mammoth fans will do just about anything to get a ticket to the game. However, Mammoth fans can get quite hostile before games, as they tend to crowd around the opposition's stadium entrance to heckle them as they arrive for the game. All games are played in daylight and the park is always full.
