Ballpark notes... (Dimensions: LFL-345, LF-355, LC-420, CF-365, RC-350, RF-330, RFL-318 / Capacity: 41K)

Craddletop Park appears rooted at the center of an urban village, a village that includes shops, restaurants, offices, and other attractions. In the middle of the food court, a merry-go-round is available for the young and young-at-heart.  Center field features a giant water display known as, "Liquid Fireworks"," that sprays fountains of water when a hometown player hits a homerun. Also, with no upper deck outfield seats, no ballpark offers a better view of a downtown skyline than Craddletop Park.

Day games start at 1pm, Night games start at 7pm.

City/Fan notes...

Detroit (Market Size: Good) - is nearly one million people coming from more than 100 ethnic and nationality groups, giving an exciting diversity to the city. Detroit's international flavor is further enhanced by the steady stream of ships passing by on the Detroit River, one of the busiest inland waterways in the world. The river carries more shipping traffic than any other river in North America and Detroit ranks as one of the major U.S. ports. For the spectator sports enthusiast, Detroit boasts the Patriarchs baseball club who play out their diamond doings at Craddletop Park.

Detroit is a Melting Pot -- and proud of it. There are at least 67 designated ethnic communities within Detroit. This ethnic conglomeration is featured all through the summer with a series of three-day free ethnic festivals at the riverfront. All in all, Detroit is full of beauty, activities, and fun. It is a good place to be.

Patriarch fans are a tough crowd in a blue collar city. They love their club but expect them to play a gritty brand of baseball. When they do, these fans back them all the way. However, they can turn ugly during key games with rivals. Extra security is brought in to handle the ruckus during meaningful games. It's a rare enemy who wants to play a game at Craddletop Park during the heat of a pennant race. The opposition had better bring their thick skin with them, as Patriarchs fans are sure to voice their displeasure.
