Ballpark notes... (Dimensions:
LFL-330, LF-360, LC-375, CF-395, RC-3375, RF-360, RFL-330/ Capacity:
44K)
This
is the Metro Leagues most
trendy ballpark. It was designed with the Diamonds "ultra-shiek" fans
in mind. Not only is it beautiful, but it includes all of the amenities
that the club's high-end customers would expect - the best of
everything, including the gourmet Diamond Dogs. You'll find plenty of
snazzy dressers, fur coats and celebs in the stands. Management makes
sure that fans will always spot celebrities in the stands as many are
given courtesy tickets for each home game series. The park is fairly
neutral with neither righties or lefties, hitters or pitchers having an
advantage.
Day games start at
1pm, Night games start at 7pm.
City/Fan notes...
Los Angeles (Market
Size: Really Big) - Often known by its initials, LA,
and nicknamed the City of Angels, Los Angeles is a world center
of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media,
fashion, science, technology, and education. Los Angeles has been ranked the third richest city and
fifth most powerful and influential city in the world, behind only New
York City in the United States.
Palm
trees, sandy beaches and nearby mountains — Los Angeles has
blossomed into a sophisticated community that warmly welcomes visitors
at any time of year. It's lush environment evokes a fantasy world
enjoyed by the rich, famous and a good mix of common folk. Los
Angeles is home to
many celebrities who shop the designer boutiques and specialty
stores looking for designer clothing and expensive jewely. Thus the
inspiration for naming the cities pro baseball club the Diamonds. Diamond fans are good baseball
fans, despite their laid-back reputation. They know the game well and
are strong supporters of the team. You'll often hear them talking
baseball on the streets even during the offseason. They may not always
get to the ballpark on time, but are very lively when they arrive.
