Unique features of Marvel Stadium include terraced bullpens in the outfield, widened concourses, a spacious and modernized press box and broadcast booths, family-oriented seating sections, state-of-the-art club-level and dugout-level suites and landscaped courtyards.

Outfield Extravaganza area, the signature piece of the ballpark, is located behind the outfield wall in left center-field. It comes to life with a 90-foot-high geyser, fireworks and pyrotechnics to celebrate great plays on the field.

Day games start at 1pm. Night games start at 7pm.

City/Fan notes...

Oakland (Market Size: Average) - is the Bay Area's and probably America's most diverse city and undervalued cultural center. If nothing else, you can simply enjoy the best weather in the country. It is called "Oakland" because it is heavily populated with oak trees.

Although Oakland is often overshadowed by tourist-friendly San Francisco across the bay, Oakland offers both the best and the worst of the Bay Area. Oakland boasts some interesting, if somewhat eccentric, shopping districts. Oakland is constituted of a number of very distinct, village-like neighborhoods, all of which host a heady mix of cultures and peoples.

Marvel fans are marvelous to their ballclub, provided the club puts an excellent product on the field. The fans will back a winner, but tend to find other things to do during tough times. Pennant runs bring the fans out in droves as they deck their cars, windows and porches with team pennants.
