Robins Park

Ballpark notes... (Dimensions: LFL-375, LF-396, LC-418, CF-440, RC-413, RF-385, RFL-360 / Capacity: 45K)

Welcome to the Metro Leagues crown jewel of ballparks. It was the countries first baseball stadium built of concrete and steel. Ownership likes to think that there is no better maintained ballpark anywhere. A 40 foot wall known as the Jolly Giant dominates right field. The surrounding area, once considered an urban eye sore, has undergone extensive renovation and has become a gentrified community.

Day games start at 1pm. Night games start at 7pm..

City notes...

Philadelphia (Market size: Big) - a dynamic place where big city excitement meets hometown charm. Famous as the birthplace of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the cradle of liberty offers much more than cobblestone streets and historical landmarks. Known as the 'City of Brotherly Love', Philadelphia is a welcoming place, a city based on freedom of expression. This big city has caught the world's attention as an unforgettable experience.

Robins fans are fantastic. They love their team and constantly sell-out the ballpark. However, the fans who sit in the 'Robins Nest' (the second deck of the left field bleachers ) can get quite nasty. They've adopted the tradition of making up their own songs that include the name of the opposing leftfielder. If the song catches on the whole ballpark will start singing it in an effort to distract the targeted player in the field or at the plate. It will become his anthem every time he visits the park. The only way to stop the fans from singing his song is to become a Robin. Tradition has it that the song is forever discarded after that.
