Charming Superb Park has gained a reputation
locally, regionally and nationally
as a terrific setting for baseball and a great place for baseball fans.
Superb Park is surrounded by city streets
and/or buildings. It has spectator sightlines
suited for baseball with excellent views of game
action from all angles and sweeping
views of the downtown skyline and even breathtaking sunsets. This
combination gives Superba fans an experience unequalled in the Metro
Leagues.
Day games start at 1pm, Night
games start at 7pm.
City/Fan notes...
Seattle (Market Size: Good),
is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle is nicknamed The
Emerald
City and is a damp green gem, with an abundance of evergreen
trees throughout, and spectacular views of the Cascade mountains to the
east and the Olympic mountains to the west. The cultural and business
center of the Pacific Northwest, the city and its surrounding areas are
the home to several big name companies, as
well as a vibrant arts scene and an excellent park system.
The weather can be rainy (but is usually just drizzly) on any given
day. The main challenge of Seattle's weather is more the overcast skies
than the rain. Despite this, there is plenty of sunny weather in the
summer which is just perfect for catching a Seattle Superbas pro
baseball
games.
Superba fans make a lot of
noise. They are known around the league as 'the tenth man.' The fans
are avid backers of the team filling Superb Park even during losing
seasons.
