Metro Bowl Champs!
 The Dragons celebrate their first Metro Bowl
championship as they survive the Market City Tritons 24-20. The Tritons
electrified their fans with an opening kickoff return for a touchdown. They
went on to score a field goal and another touchdown in the second quarter
to lead 17-0. But, the Dragons scored two touchdowns in the second quarter
to put themselves in the contest by halftime. The Dragons forced a fumble
in the third quarter that led to a third TD and a 21-17 lead. Still, with
under a minute left in the fourth quarter, the Tritons had a final chance
to win the game as they mounted a final drive that took them to the Dragons
4 yard line. However, the Dragons stuffed the run at the goal line, on fourth
down, with 10 seconds left to stop the Tritons. The ball turned over on downs
and the Dragons ran out the clock to capture the Metro Bowl title. The Dragons
passed for 208 yards, 2 TD's and rushed for 228 yards and 1 TD. Next, they
travel home to Dunberry for a parade on main street....
