RECAP:
Bay City had to scrap for most of the year, and the final 5-8-0 mark
reflected a season that rarely gave them anything easy. Offensively, QB
Jim Daugherty, the league passing leader, posted 3058 passing yards, 21
touchdowns, 6 interceptions; HB Dean Brink posted 834 rushing yards, 4
rushing touchdowns; and WR Tommy Bohemia posted 65 catches for 937
yards, 6 touchdowns. On defense, DLT/NG Mac Soltau posted 67 tackles,
23 tackles for loss, 3 sacks.
Wins over Rivermount, River Heights, and
Midway gave the season its best lift, but losses to Market City and
Brandenburg sank the momentum.
