SEASON RECAP: Cape City's season carried plenty of drama, with the team finishing 8-5-0 after living on the edge in several key weeks. Offensively, QB Harold Knight posted 2743 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, 10 interceptions; HB Dan Boydston, the MFL Player of the Year and league rushing leader, posted 1057 rushing yards, 8 rushing touchdowns; and WR Norb Kimberley posted 49 catches for 762 yards, 2 touchdowns. On defense, LILB/MLB Chris Vogel, the league tackle leader, posted 105 tackles, 12 tackles for loss. Wins over Seaside, Jaxton, and Gateway highlighted the team’s upside, while losses to Gotham and St. Patrick made sustained momentum difficult. A playoff victory over Brandenburg pushed the season into the Conference Championship before a loss to Easton.

(Market Size: Small) ... is known for its summer climate, but more people are finding peace and quiet there during the off-season. The sea is a big part of life in Cape City. The city's maritime heritage and historic charm make it a relaxing place to live. Back in the day, Cape City was a safe spot for pirate ships, and that legacy still influences its identity.

Cape City’s football team, the Cape City Corsairs, gets its name from those daring pirates. The Corsairs' fans are known for being rowdy, creating an intense game day atmosphere. Wearing enemy colors at their stadium is risky, and those who do sometimes need police help to get out safely. The Corsairs have a strong, almost cult-like following across the country.
