SEASON
RECAP: Gateway
built a season around competitiveness more than comfort, closing at
4-9-0. Offensively, QB Keith Van Brocklin posted 2913 passing yards, 23
touchdowns, 9 interceptions; HB Lenard Mallory posted 455 rushing
yards, 1 rushing touchdown; and WR Sean Whitcomb posted 68 catches for
916 yards, 5 touchdowns. Taking down
Sterling, Metropolis, and Brandenburg gave the club proof of concept,
but losses to Rivermount and Cape City left too much ground to recover.

and surrounded by scenic valleys, parks, and amazing views. Over the
last 20 years, it’s experienced a cultural and architectural boom,
making it a must-visit spot with pro football, world-class museums, and

rowing, Gateway's rivers are perfect, with a tradition dating back to
the late 1800s.
The city's pro football team, the Gateway Colonials, is named after its
history as a key entry point for pioneers heading west. During playoff
time, the whole city rallies behind the Colonials, turning Gateway into
a sea of team colors. Capitol Grounds, their home stadium, comes alive
with fans creating an electrifying atmosphere that echoes through the
