RECAP: Market
City kept finding ways to stay relevant, but the final 6-7-0 mark
showed how unforgiving the year became. Offensively, QB Eric O'Connell
(R) posted 3056 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 8 interceptions; HB Donte
Meier posted 644 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 0 lost fumbles;
and TE Chet Reid posted 62 catches for 802 yards, 7 touchdowns. On
defense, LILB/MLB Clay Taylor posted 79 tackles.
Beating River Heights, Bay City, and Silver Bay showed what the roster
could do, while losses to Crestfield and Roxford stalled the season.
