SEASON RECAP: The season asked a lot of Metropolis, and the answer was a 8-5-0 finish filled with uneven but competitive football. Offensively, QB Al North posted 2384 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, 2 interceptions; HB James Sears posted 708 rushing yards, 8 rushing touchdowns; and WR Chris Stone posted 65 catches for 1003 yards, 10 touchdowns. On defense, LILB/MLB Bernard Nagler posted 76 tackles. The victories over Midway, Dunberry, and Bay City were worth remembering, but defeats against Oakdale and Gateway made the climb tougher. The team survived the playoff stage against Oakdale, then bowed out in the Conference Championship against Silver Bay.

OFFSEASON UPDATE:
Metropolis showed vote of confidence by extending head coach Graham Sawness on a new 3-year deal.
