SEASON
RECAP: Tylerville
closed the year at 7-6-0, with its best football showing up in bursts
rather than long stretches. Offensively, QB Duke Rogers posted 2417
passing yards, 16 touchdowns, 3 interceptions; HB Dennis Walling posted
499 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns; and WR James Henry posted 55
catches for 760 yards, 3 touchdowns. On defense, LILB/MLB Thomas Konig
posted 94 tackles, 6 tackles for loss. The strongest snapshots came
against Midway,
Roxford, and St. Cruze, even as losses to Market City and Oakdale kept
the postseason just out of reach.
OFFSEASON UPDATE:
Tylerville extends head coach Pete Turner on a new 3-year deal. The
team still has confidence in their coach who took them to the Metro
Bowl title in season 6.
