the Rivermount Kodiaks, though the Roxford Rangers and the Midway
Bobcats kept the chase from slipping away. The postseason narrowed
behind the Rivermount Kodiaks, whose wins over the Market City Tritons
and the Midway Bobcats carried the team into the title game. The final
step of the season belonged to the Marbro Musketeers, who defeated the
Rivermount Kodiaks in the Metro Bowl, giving the franchise its first
league championship.
