QUICK RECAP: SEASON 2
With a champion’s target on their back, the Marbro Musketeers couldn’t recapture the same edge, and the Metropolitan shifted to the Jaxton Jackets, who looked like the class of the conference most of the way while the Crestfield Spartans surged and the St. Cruz Makos stayed in the hunt. The Cosmopolitan flipped too, as the Roxford Rangers finally turned their balance into a top-line season with the Oakdale Nightbirds, Market City Tritons, and Gateway Colonials packed right behind them. The postseason belonged to the St. Cruz Makos, who timed it perfectly and walked away with the crown, giving the league its second different champion in two years.
