QUICK RECAP: SEASON 4
Season 4 felt like the league widening even more: the Newport Bay Cyclones finally turned flashes into control in the Metropolitan, while the Gotham Bulldogs stayed a constant threat and the Dunberry Dragons lingered until a late dip. The Cosmopolitan became a parity parade—Metroppolis Monarchs, Bay City Comets, Oakdale Nightbirds, and Sterling Stallions
all lived in the same neighborhood, with nobody able to truly break
away. In the postseason, though, it snapped back to a familiar gut
punch: the Nightbirds made another deep run, only for the Bulldogs to finish the job and lift the title, handing Oakdale a third straight Metro Bowl heartbreak.
