QUICK RECAP: SEASON 5

The Metropolitan swung back to a powerhouse look, with the Jaxton Jackets dominating the regular season the way contenders talk about doing in August, while the Brandenburg Brahmas stayed dangerous and the middle of the conference stayed volatile. The Cosmopolitan finally had a true pace-setter again in the Roxford Rangers, but the rest was a blender of teams trading spots weekly. Then the playoffs flipped the script: the St. Cruze Makos pulled the rug out from under Jaxton, the Sterling Stallions caught the hottest streak of the year at the perfect time, and the Metro Bowl ended with Stallions winning 41–31 over the Brahmas—a title run that reminded everyone regular-season form doesn’t cash postseason checks.
