QUICK GAME RECAP ...
In a cold, snowy afternoon at Tigers Stadium, Tylerville did just
enough to slip past Gateway 16–14 in a tight, grind-it-out win. MVP QB
Duke Rogers was calm and efficient, going 16-for-21 for 137 yards and a
touchdown, adding 41 rushing yards to keep drives alive and control the
tempo. Gateway moved the ball well and finished with 300 total yards,
but a key interception and missed field goal loomed large. K Chet
Bagley’s perfect day—3-for-3 on field goals—proved to be the
difference, even after Gateway’s late touchdown made the final seconds
tense.
