	Qtr 1, 08:15. In cold, pouring rain at Dunberry Stadium, Brandenburg struck early behind QB Chuck Hudson’s big arm. After a 51-yard bomb to Frances Henning set the tone, the Brahmas finished the opening drive with a 1-yard Terry Miller touchdown run.

A key sequence of sacks on Hudson later in the quarter kept the Brahmas from extending the lead, and the score remained 20–7.

	Overtime, 09:37. In overtime, Brandenburg got the break it needed—Alvin Smith intercepted Borden and returned it to the 2-yard line—setting up Gregory Murphy’s 2-yard walk-off touchdown run for a 26–20 Brandenburg win.

In a cold, rain-soaked showdown at Dunberry Stadium, the Brandenburg Brahmas outlasted the Dunberry Dragons 26–20 in overtime, building a 20–7 halftime lead before surviving a late Dunberry surge and finishing it off after an OT interception set up the winning score. MVP QB Chuck Hudson was sharp despite constant pressure, going 16-of-22 (72.7%) for 299 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT (145.1 rating) while adding 24 rushing yards as Brandenburg overcame six sacks and a missed PAT to escape with the road win.
