Silver Bay struck again late in the third quarter. Hugy Altham (QB)
connected with Erik Gonzalez (WR) on a 39-yard touchdown pass,
extending the lead after consistent pressure had kept Metropolis off
balance. Brantley converted the PAT.

Metropolis answered early in the fourth quarter with its most effective
drive of the game, moving efficiently through the air. Al North (QB)
found Chris Stone (WR) for a 20-yard touchdown pass, finishing a
short-field opportunity after a chunk gain set up the red zone chance.
Adalberto Vanmeter (K) added the extra point.

QUICK GAME RECAP ...
In a cold, snow-filled matchup, the Silver Bay Wolves controlled the
tempo and leaned on a dominant defensive performance to secure a 14–7
win over the Metropolis Monarchs. Silver Bay struck first with a
methodical drive in the second quarter and extended the lead late in
the third behind a big-play touchdown pass, while their defense
consistently disrupted Metropolis’ offense with heavy pressure and
takeaways. The Monarchs found life early in the fourth quarter with a
scoring drive, but repeated sacks and stalled possessions prevented any
sustained comeback effort. MVP DRE Vince Preas (SILVER BAY) delivered a
standout performance with 6 sacks and 8 tackles, anchoring a defensive
unit that recorded 10 total sacks and forced three turnovers,
ultimately dictating the outcome despite Metropolis outgaining Silver
Bay through the air.
