production and timely defensive pressure to control the game. Easton
built a 16–7 halftime lead behind Franklin Davis’ four field goals and
extended it in the third quarter with a touchdown drive after a key
turnover sequence. Cape City responded with strong rushing from Dan
Boydston and a late fourth-quarter push, but constant
pressure—highlighted by nine sacks—disrupted their passing attack and
stalled multiple drives. MVP DLE Mike Russell (EASTON) anchored the
defensive effort with 2 sacks and 6 tackles for loss, helping limit
Cape City’s consistency despite their 352 total yards, while Easton’s
