QUICK RECAP: Season 7
By
the end of the regular season, the Easton Barons had become the
Metropolitan’s lead team, with the Brandenburg Brahmas and the Cape
City Corsairs still close enough to shape the playoff picture. The
Cosmopolitan did not fully clear out behind the Roxford Rangers, as the
Oakdale Nightbirds and the Metropolis Monarchs remained part of the
regular-season story. The bracket’s main surprise came from the Silver
Bay Wolves, whose road wins over the River Heights Warriors, the
Roxford Rangers, and the Metropolis Monarchs pushed the team into the
Metro Bowl. The final game settled in favor of the Easton Barons, who
defeated the Silver Bay Wolves in the Metro Bowl, giving the franchise
its first league championship.
